This relates to UK Visa Applications from Oceania Countries for the UK Visa and Immigration Applications made from American Samoa, Australia, Christmas Island, Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Guam, Heard Island and McDonald Islands, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Norfolk Island, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu and Wallis and Futuna during April-June 2017 quarter.

Please Note: Apart from Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Tonga, NO Application was made for UK Visa and Immigration during the quarter from Oceania Region.

UK Visa Refusal Rate by Country

UK Visa Applications from Australia and New Zealand

According to the Official Statistics in April-June 2017 quarter, 7,837 Applications were made for Entry Clearance from Oceania. 7,064 applications were Resolved during the Quarter, and 6,818 Visas were Granted and as many as 207 applications were Refused. Therefore, the overall UK Visa Refusal Rate during the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2017 was 2.93%. Moreover, 39 applications were withdrawn and NO application lapsed during the quarter from Oceania.

Australia

5,166 Applications were made for Entry Clearance from Australia. 4,762 applications were Resolved during the Quarter, 4,653 Visas were Granted, 88 applications were Refused and 21 applications were withdrawn. The UK Visa Refusal Rate from Australia during the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2017 was 1.85%.

Fiji

347 Applications were made for Entry Clearance from Fiji. 308 applications were Resolved during the Quarter, 245 Visas were Granted, 60 applications were Refused and 3 applications were withdrawn. Therefore, UK Visa Refusal Rate from Fiji during the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2017 was 19.48%.

New Zealand

2,314 Applications were made for Entry Clearance from New Zealand. 1,985 applications were Resolved during the Quarter, 1,913 Visas were Granted, 57 applications were Refused and 15 applications were withdrawn. The UK Visa Refusal Rate from New Zealand during the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2017 was 2.87%.

Papua New Guinea

4 Applications were made for Entry Clearance from Papua New Guinea. 4 applications were Resolved during the Quarter, 3 Visas were Granted, ONE application was Refused. Therefore, UK Visa Refusal Rate from Papua New Guinea during the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2017 was 25.00%.

Solomon Islands

2 Applications were made for Entry Clearance from Solomon Islands. 2 applications were Resolved during the Quarter, and 2 Visas were Granted.

Tonga

4 Applications were made for Entry Clearance from Tonga. 2 applications were Resolved during the Quarter, ONE Visa was Granted and ONE application was Refused. Therefore, UK Visa Refusal Rate from Tonga during the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2017 was 50.00%.
