EU Citizens and UK Immigration

Since Brexit, EU citizens no longer have automatic right to live and work in the UK. Those resident before 31 December 2020 could apply for settled or pre-settled status. New arrivals must now use the points-based immigration system like other nationalities. EU citizens can visit for up to 6 months without a visa but need an ETA from 2025.
