Travellers from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Croatia and Slovenia do not need a UK visa for short stays. As visa-exempt EU nationals they use the Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme — a £20 authorisation obtained via the UK ETA App and issued in nearly all eligible cases.
Each guide explains when an ETA is enough, when a full visa is required for work, study or family routes, and sets out current UK visa fees in euros alongside official success-rate figures.
