- Graduate Trainee
- UK Expansion Worker
- Service Supplier
- Secondment Worker
Indians can get the Global Business Mobility visa if the UK employer sponsor the worker to come to the UK for specific job. The Global Business Mobility visa is points based. Accordingly, Indians need to score 40 to 60 points depending on the sub-category of Global Business Mobility Visa UK. All five sub-categories of Global Business Mobility visa do not lead to settlement (ILR) in the UK.
Senior or Specialist Worker
From April 11, 2022, Global Mobility Business Senior or Specialist Worker Visa UK will replace the Intra-company Transfer route. This route is for senior managers or specialist employees who are assigned to a UK business which is linked by common ownership to the overseas employing company.

UK Expansion Worker
From April 11, 2022, the Global Business Mobility UK Expansion Worker Visa will replace the Sole Representative of an Overseas Business route. The UK Expansion Worker Visa is for specialist or senior employees who are assigned to the UK to assist with the overseas business’s expansion to the UK.

From April 11, 2022, the Global Business Mobility Service Supplier Visa UK will replace contractual service providers and independent professional persons in the T5 Temporary Worker – International Agreement route. The Global Business Mobility Service Supplier Visa is for overseas workers coming to the UK to provide a service that is in line with a UK trade commitment. The UK Global Business Mobility Service Supplier Visa Fees in India are INR25,598 (£259).
The UK Global Business Mobility Secondment Worker Visa is new route. The Secondment Worker route will be available from April 11, 2022, to Indian workers who are seconded to the UK as part of a high value contract or investment by their employer overseas.

High Potential Individual (HPI)
In terms of Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules HC 1118 dated 15 March 2022, Home Office has introduced High Potential Individual visa. The High Potential Individual Visa UK is for Indian graduates from the top-50 Universities across the world who wish to come to the UK to undertake full-time employment or self-employment work or seek employment opportunities. The New High Potential Individual visa fees in India are INR25,598 (£259).
To get HPI Indians must have been awarded within the last 5 years a bachelor’s or postgraduate degree qualification from one of the top global universities (non-UK) which is published in the Home Office’s ‘Global Universities List’.
Indians having a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree will get a 2-year non-extendable High Potential Individual Visa UK. However, Indians having a PhD qualification can get a 3-year High Potential Visa. Indians need to meet the English language and financial requirements for scoring 70 points. High Potential Individual Visa route does not lead to settlement (indefinite leave to remain – ILR) but Indians can switch to other routes in the UK.
In terms of Statement of Changes in Immigration Rules HC 1118 dated 15 March 2022, Home Office has introduced Scale-up Visa UK. Indians will be able to apply for Scale-up Visa UK from Aug 22, 2022. The New Scale-up Visa UK Fees 2022 in Indians Rupees are INR63,994 (£625).
The Scale-up visa is those Indians who have a sponsored job offer from an authorised UK scale-up company to qualify for a ‘fast-track visa’. To register for this route, a company will need to demonstrate they have an annualised growth of at least 20% for the previous 3-year period in terms of turnover or staffing and have a minimum of 10 employees at the start of the 3-year period.
The job offer must be skilled at RQF Level 6 or equivalent (graduate level) – higher than the current threshold for Skilled Worker applications which is set at RQF Level 3. The UK Scale-up Visa minimum salary requirements for Indians are at least £33,000 per year or the going rate for the occupation. Indians will initially get a Scale-up Visa for 2-years – the first six months of which they need to work for the sponsor. Indians may be eligible to extend the Scaleup visa in the UK for up to 3 years. Indian migrants in the UK on a Scale-up visa can apply for settlement (indefinite leave to remain – ILR) after a period of 5 years.
An Indian National can apply for a UK Global Talent visa if they are a leader or potential leader in academia or research, arts and culture, and digital technology. The Global Talent visa has replaced the Tier 1 Exceptional Talent visa. The UK Global Talent Visa Fees in Indian Rupees 2022 are as under:

Indians need to apply for a marriage visitor visa if they are travelling to the UK for getting married, forming a civil partnership, or giving a notice of marriage or civil partnership. To get a marriage visitor visa, an Indian must:
- be aged 18 years or over
- have a valid endorsement with the name of the fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner in the UK
- intend to genuinely get marry or form a civil partnership in the UK or give notice of marriage/civil partnership in the UK
- not intend to give notice of or enter a sham marriage or civil partnership in the UK, within the validity period covered by the marriage visitor visa

Please note, there is no provision in the Immigration Rules for a family member, friend, or nurse to accompany a visitor, who is coming to the UK for private medical treatment. Therefore, any attendant needs to apply as a visitor and satisfy the requirements.
