Why UK Visa Getting Delayed from Russia?
At times only a fraction of the applications from Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Rostov-on-Don might experience delays in processing. There could be several reasons for delays in UK visa processing.
What if the UK Visa Application from Russia Gets Refused?
Empirically, the UK visa refusal rate from Russia is low i.e. less than 5%. Therefore, more than nine out of ten applications are usually successful! Nevertheless, after a refusal decision, an applicant can either reapply or challenge a refusal decision by filing an appeal, administrative review, or judicial review. However, in 2018 the number of decisions came down to 146K. During 2016-18 the number of UK visa grants to Russian nationals’ hovers in the range of 116-154K.
