Tier 2 Visa Application Fee and UK Priority Visa Fee

The Tier 2 Visa Application Fee from inside the UK, i.e. for in-country applications, ranges from £446 to £1,354 per main/dependant applicant depending on the time duration and the sub-category. If the main applicant is a Macedonian or Turkish national then he/she is entitled to receive a Council of Europe Social Charter (CESC) discount of £55. However, the Priority Service Charges for all types of in-country Tier 2 Applicants are £459 per applicant i.e. if the main applicant is applying with 2 dependants than the payment for priority service will be 1,377 exclusive of the requisite Tier 2 Application Fee.

Accordingly, for an online Tier 2 Priority Visa Application, an applicant is required to make the following payments from April 2017:

  • ICT – Short Term, Skills Transfer and Graduate Trainee £922 per applicant (£463 Application Fee + £459 Priority Service Charges). For instance, an in-country Tier 2 Priority Application of Main Applicant with 2 dependants will cost £2,766/– instead of £1,389/- for standard service; however, it is going to save the applicant 6-8 weeks of waiting time.
